Dallyn was very persistent and he really enjoyed getting the golf ball in the hole..he never gave up!

Labor Day Lunch

Labor Day we spent time in Livermore and we ate at a park that I used to play at as a child!

Cameron had to wait 48 hours to hold Gecky as that's what the pet store recommended. He was so excited when he finally was able to hold his new pet Monday morning!!

Please Meet Gecky!

After two years of life with the Wrights, we have said goodbye to Sassy & Mo, our Red Eared Slider turtles. They were badly in need of a larger home and we found a nice pond for them to live in with another family!

Which leads us to Cameron's new pet, someone he has been dreaming of for the past few years! Yes, he is a gecko! A leopard gecko to be exact! He is pretty cute too. I'll upload more photos soon. For now, please meet Gecky, the newest member of the Wright Family. And I must say the kids LOVE to watch him catch his live crickets for lunch. Yuck! I'm not used to the live food thing, but I suppose I'll adjust! As long as I don't have to touch them!!

Fun with my new stamps!

I finally had some time to play with some of my new stamp sets I ordered in early August!
Here I used my new Basic Grey paper and then Zoofari set I've neglected this past year! The yummy new wide grosgrain ribbon finishes the look!

I decided to stick with the same pattern for some more cards, just changing the ribbon to rose red....fun! =)

Then playing with some new designer series paper and new ribbons! =0)

Don't ya love the monkey! He's just so fun!

Mother & Daughter Scrapbook Challenge

Kaylie and I like to do 'scrapbook challenges' every now and then. This challenge was to scrap a camping page. Don't you love Kaylie's page? She used some Simply Scrappin Kit pieces and ribbon for her embellishment. She punched the squirrel out with my new circle punch and mounted it on a metal edged tag. She's learning so much from scrap time with Mom! =)

Here I mixed items from 2 Simply Scrappin Kits to complete this roasting marshmallows page from last summer's trip!

This was one of our first trips last summer with our new camping trailer..so I had to journal all about the fun we had. I love my new Alphabet set!! Isn't it perfect for camping pages??
