Welcome to the family

This past week, in a moment of emotional weakness and insanity, Dad, decided to let the kids add a member to our family, please meet our newest addition, Rhino, the hamster. She has been a great attention grabber for the kids, who adore her and love to watch her run all over the floor in her plastic ball.

Kyler the Comfortable

Kyler also is completing his soccer season, with Dad as a less than reliable coach. Kyler has had fun ... from a distance usually. He is yet to understand that to kick the ball he needs to get close enough to it that his foot can hit it. Usually that means there are too many other boys around and he is more comfortable just watching from a few feet away rather than jumping into the scrum. When the ball comes by him he does jump into action.

Dallyn the Great

Dallyn has one game left in this year's soccer season. Dallyn has emerge this year to be a force to be reckoned with on the field, often scoring one or multiple goals for his team each game and proving to have one of the biggest legs. In typical Dallyn fashion, he brings immense focus, passion and determination to each and every game. The final picture below is him strutting away after just scoring a goal. Go DJ!!!

Cameron Superstar

About a week ago, Cameron was a hit in his music theaters performance of Joseph and the Technicolor Dream coat. Cameron played a brother, Gad, and the Pharaoh's butler. He was phenomenal. He was part of almost every scene, had a number of lines and even a small solo. He did great and look natural and at ease up there on stage with much older kids around him.

Race 4 the Cure

May 12, 2012 will be the annual Susan G. Komen Race 4 the Cure event. Anyone who would like to is welcome to join our team, Team Heidi Wright, and help us both remember this wonderful women and support further research into fighting this terrible disease.

Registration information is found at http://komenslc.org/ for the Salt Lake City run, there are also runs the same day through all the country.

The Salt Lake Race will begin at 8:30 am at a new location, Liberty Square in downtown Salt Lake.

Heidi's Funeral Service

Monday April 30th, 2012 we held the funeral and memorial service for Heidi Black Wright. It was a beautiful day, filled with loving memories of a marvelous woman and filled with wonderful support and love from more family and friends than we could have ever imagined. We miss Heidi dearly but were so pleased with how the day went. Thank you to everyone who has support us through this rough time. Some will never know how much it has meant and what a difference a comment can make for me and my family.
