Convention Part 4

I was able to enjoy Salt Lake City a bit while I was there too...aside from all the stamping I did. Here I am with the wonderful view of the Salt Lake Temple behind me...this is the view from the top of the Joseph Smith Building where we had dinner one night!

We were lucky enough to stay in an apartment belonging to Rachel's family and this was the view from one of our windows...the state capital! Isn't it breathtaking! Loved seeing that view as I woke up to peace and quiet each morning...somehow Rachel is much quieter than my four children are each morning!

Another highlight was visiting my Aunt Sue and her family in Centerville on one of my free evenings. Thanks for hosting me for a night! =)

Saturday morning I sneaked out of a few business classes to catch up with my good friend Brooke who now lives in Utah, and Angee was in town too so she joined us for breakfast at Park Cafe. Fun times...reminds me of the good old days...

Convention Part 3

I reached a milestone this year where I reached $100,000 in career sales with Stampin' Up! I marched across the stage with other demonstrators who had reached this milestone. Here I am on stage...the neat thing is I received a $1000 bonus for this accomplishment...watch out..i'm buying some new stamps! =)

Stampin' Up! pulled out all the stops at Convention this year...look at this cute 20 year token....isn't it cute? What do you think it is??

You got it! It's chocolate..here is Rachel taking a bite of hers....

Here we are stamping! Yeahoo...this make and take hall was HUGE and there were several make and take halls. Can you imagine having seating for over 6000 demonstrators??? Wow!

Convention Part 2

Stampin' Up! released its Decor Elements line in July, and this is phase 2 of their release which will come in October. So these are like rub-ons for your wall! How neat is that?? And they coordinate with our stamp sets...even cooler! These flowers coordinate with the Ginormous Flowers Set. I just loved this wall...so I had to get my photo taken with it!

Rachel and I with Ronald Mc Donald...Stampin' Up! has a partnership with Ronald Mc Donald House Charities. It was neat to hear about all they are doing. And Yes...Rachel and I are twinners!! We had to be corny...that's all part of the fun of a girl's getaway!!

Here I am with my famous upline, Patty Bennett, who was just named to the Advisory Board at Stampin' Up! They select 8 demonstrators to serve on this board each year and Patty was chosen!! Can you see that she's on cloud 9?? Since she's famous now I just had to get a photo with her....=) Way to go Patty!

Rachel and I enjoying dinner in the Garden Restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Great food and even better views..this was right before formal awards night!

Fun Times at Convention Part 1

Here I am in the Legacy Room at the Stampin' Up! Headquarters. They had their rooms beautifully decorated for the different themes they offered in the catalog! This was the Crew Classics room. Isn't it cute? Seems like they like Pottery Barn Kids too!

Here I am in the sewing room..and yes that dress is made out of paper! Wow!

My roomie and good friend Rachel poses in one of the legacy rooms. Don't you love how they have a scrapbook windowpane on the wall with a Happiness Rub-On? It's all so cute!!

Off to Stampin' Up! Convention

Well I'm very excited to be attending Stampin' Up!s 20th Convention with my good friend Rachel! I leave this afternoon for 3 days of excitement and stamping and great fun!! It's been 5 years since I've attended convention so I'm really excited to be going!

I just finished my 100 swap cards, thanks for much help from Scott, Jo Deann and Kaylynne...THANK YOU!!

So I'll trade 50 of each card and come home with 100 new card ideas! Yeah!! I'm excited! Watch for posts when I return of the fun from my trip!

Cute Boys

Well I sure think I have some cute boys!! Here are the boys playing wizards together..they each had such fun hats and 'broomsticks'.

Ok, this is "Dave" as he calls himself and two seconds before I took this photo he was wearing the Hello Kitty backpack too! I love that..a pink backpack, the home depot toolbox, one of mom's hats, incredible pajamas, dad's childhood cowboy vest and army glasses...what a combination!!

Kyler loves his necklaces..and his bob the builder!

Isn't this face precious? This is when we were camping last time and Kyler was struggling to stay awake. We felt so bad for him..he was SOO sleepy and yet he didn't want to sleep in the pack in case he missed out on some excitement! =)

Our Trip to Golden Gate Park

Scott and I hadn't been to Golden Gate park since my 27th birthday which was 4 years ago now...and we had never taken our children to Golden Gate park so we thought it was time to take our children to see some of the sights of the city! Since we were in SF for Scott's race (more info to follow) we took advantage of the opportunity to be tourists.
