MRI #6 Tumor Update

Well I've been dragging my feet about posting about my recent MRI on June 23rd. Mostly because I've been so busy and/or sick since moving to Utah, but also since the news isn't anything to get too excited about.

Basically the news on from MRI #6 is the same as MRI #5. The results came back inconclusive. They are not sure if the tumor is growing or shrinking, there are signs that lead them to think it could be either way. So for now we WAIT a few more weeks for my next MRI to see if we can make more conclusions then.

2 weeks ago I had a very intense seizure that left our family in a state of shock. A last minute apt. with my Neurosurgeon confirmed that the swelling in my brain has reached a peak point where I may be only days away from starting back on steroids. The pressure in my brain got really intense during our family vacation in Yellowstone. That was really hard and we realized the high altitude contributed to my pain. I'm now on twice the dosage of Anti-Seizure medication which makes me really, really tired. I'm so blessed to not be on steroids though so I'm grateful for that silver lining.

Keep praying for my tumor to show obvious signs of shrinking. We really need that now.
Thanks for all the love and concern.
Hugs,
Heidi
