Family Room Before/During

We've been working on the family room and we're almost done with the changes. Here is the family room on the day we moved in.

Here are three views of the Family Room now. This past Thursday our painter did the family room walls in Lemongrass, the same color as our California Home (didn't I tell you I love that home?? I wanted everything here to be the same!!) So here is the left hand wall--we still need to do the black ledges next on either side of the Christ painting. That's still to come..

Here's the front wall of the family room, I love the angles of the walls and the shutters and beautiful views from these windows!!

Then this is the right hand side of the room with my new desk (LOVE IT!) and you can see the hallway into the entry. The wall with all the plugs is the kitchen wall where we hope to get a sideboard or hutch to keep our nice dishes in. That wall is still creme since we may have to patch some holes and re-do some electrical so that's on the to-do list during the next month. But I'm loving the family room now! It's finally not full of boxes which is great!! I'll post the After photos once we get the rest of the walls done! =)
