Well the New Year is bringing about lots of new things for our family. Scott has been teaching the Weeblo Scouts and he was just released from this calling and asked to teach the 15 year olds in Sunday School. He has 10 students and is looking forward to working with the youth. He also teaches Elder's Quorum once a month and so this Sunday he gets to teach BOTH classes...that's going to be fun!
I was teaching the 5 year olds and was asked to teach the 11/12 girls class this year. So, this means I get to teach Kaylie's class. It's an adjustment from 5 year olds, I don't think coloring pages will keep their attention!! I am excited to learn more about the Old Testament though as I work on my lessons each week. It's wonderful to be able to serve in the church and I am looking forward to growing from this new calling in 2010.
