Our Family Room gets a Christmas Gift

We were so excited to find this fireplace/entertainment center at Costco that was just perfect for our family room! It has been a struggle for us to get this room to be what we like since the sizing is strange. The television was a Christmas gift from Scott's boss so it worked out perfectly! This home doesn't have a fireplace at all (weird living somewhere with so much cold and snow!!) and so this has been a fun addition. The fireplace puts off heat and has instant flames when you turn it on but its just all electric!!

We rearranged the family room to make the seating more suitable for visiting with family and friends. The new rug ties everything together and we are loving having a family room that is more functional!

We got the room put together just in time to host an early Christmas dinner here with Scott's family. Here is some of the gang...

...and still more of them...the kitchen is full of the 14 or so kids we had here. We missed Richard and family and Brad! Wish you could have joined us too!
