Scott and the older kids hiked up some waterfalls at the 7 Sacred pools. Here is a photo of Scott looking off at the beauty of the vista. I love that I got a photo with just Scott since it was really busy I can't believe I got a chance to get just Scott and the waterfall!
If you click on the photos you can see them larger, but here is a photo of Kaylie, Cam and Scott hiking back from the waterfall.See those arm's waving in the air? Those are my kids who are so excited to actually be swimming in a waterfall! They had been talking about doing this all day long!! You can see Kyler and Dallyn in the foreground playing in the waterfall pool as well, they just loved that and the water was so warm for being from a waterfall pool. I could have taken photos all day!
At the end of the road to Hana Scott got this photo of the backside of the island. There was this amazing view of the volcano that is on the backside. I must admit that the island is not very pretty on the back...this is probably one of the best views and then things start to look dead....but the volcano was a neat view!
Since the kids all slept on the drive back on the road to Hana everyone got a cat nap around 5:30 pm for a few hours, so we decided to grab Taco Bell on the way home and let the kids go for a late night dip in the pool. We did that, except Kyler and I didn’t stay in too long. Kyler said the hot tub was too hot and the cool pool was too cold so I think with the breeze of the evening it was just too cold for him. So we went back to the timeshare and did laundry and got things ready for bed while the older kids went swimming with Dad. After everyone got back we had ice cream and visited for a while till everyone crashed. We really wore everyone…it was a really busy day. We loved the experience and it will be one our children will always remember!
