Since I wasn't feeling to well this past weekend (*chemo effects*) I wasn't as on top of it about taking photos as I usually am! But we did get this one photo of the family group at the schoolhouse in Idaho.
Scott's sister Lisa planned a family reunion type retreat at an old schoolhouse in Idaho. It was in Lava Hot Springs. We spent Saturday up in Lava and many people enjoyed tubing down the river. It was too swift for most of my kids so only Kaylie ended up going down with her dad a few times. Maybe next time if the water isn't so high then more of my children can go tubing..i was just too worried about their safety! It was great to see my kids having so much fun.
Everyone enjoyed staying at the quaint old schoolhouse. After we got settled everyone went to the Lava Hot Springs pool. We enjoyed a few hours swimming at the pool and going on the slides there. My kids were in heaven. I was constantly trying to get a headcount to make sure I knew where Kyler and Dallyn were all the time! Kaylie and Cam were off swimming with their cousins. There was an indoor pool, several waterslides, a rock climbing wall, some high dives and some kiddie slides. So there was something for everyone!
Afterwards we cooked tin foil dinners and had smores round the campfire. The next morning we got up, had breakfast and checked out of the schoolhouse. Then we headed off to church there in Lava. This photo was taken just before we left for church. It was a whirlwind 24 hours and then we headed back to Utah to get ready for our next round of reunions!! =) Next year it'll have to be longer and we need to have Rich and Tiff and their families there too!!
Sorry there aren't more photos to share!! =)
