This past week was Cameron's Arrow of Light ceremony. It's hard to believe he will be 11 next month and will be moving up in scouting again!! It'll be time to buy him a real scouting shirt just in time for Dallyn to get his first cub scout shirt a few months later! Oh my what is happening to these kids of mine??
Cameron got to pick his "Guide" for his ceremony and last week he asked Dallyn to be his guide because "he is always a good friend to me" which I thought was so cool..so here is Dallyn painting Cameron's face.Dallyn escorted Cameron across the bridge and he received his award from the scout leater.
Here's Cameron very excited about this next step in scouting!!
A very talented sister in our stake made these amazing plaques for the kids that advanced this month. She carved them by hand....This will be so neat to hang on Cameron's wall. He can tie the spear to the plaque.
Cameron and Dallyn together...Dallyn was a great escort!
Boy pose....
Watch out for that spear!!
Ok so having three boys is so fun, and what a LOUD and crazy dynamic. This week was Dr. Seuess week and so the kids could dress up. Dallyn spiked his hair and came up with his own outfit as did Kyler...there was a plan with it all even though I am not 100% sure all the details! Cameron however did the red THING 2 and then got to school and ended up making a new THING 3 to be part of a trio of friends. His trio won the class contest(he had this awesome blue hat he made too) and so he was really excited about the day. It seems like it was super fun for everyone!! I'm so glad my kids have such great a great school!
