New Wainscotting!

Ok, I've had the painting jitters lately! I can't paint the flat walls well so I'm waiting for my painter who has been busy for about a month now! He has 3 rooms to do for us once he gets a chance to paint...the first thing will be the kitchen ceiling and then the kitchen walls!! But, you can see meanwhile I got antsy and decided to test my Lemongrass color on the walls. Sure enough..its too close to the color of the wainscoting in the kitchen!!

So, today I went to the paint store and ordered some paint 2-3 shades darker on the same color scale. I took a chance, hoping I would like it and I LOVE IT!!! I'm so burned out on painting (it doesn't take much) but I LOVE the color!

The new green color has so much personality and its such a rich color, I just really like it!! Now once the upper walls are Lemongrass it'll really be great!!!

It makes all the white really pop now that the walls are a darker green! Not bad for an afternoon...I'm thinking I may do the wainscoting in my laundry room too...I have plenty of left over paint.....Hmm.. =)
