We took a short hike down to some tide pools (Queens Bath). It was pretty but the waves were huge that day so we could not get very close to the tide pools nor swim in the bigger ones like we had hoped to do.
And saw several other beautiful waterfalls around the island, all descending from the one main peak of Kauai, the "Wettest Place on Earth"
There are also some massive sea caves the kids enjoyed exploring.
