February 17 - Orapup and Valentines

Though not meaningful to many, my Company crossed a major hurdle this week in the beginning of production of our next big product, the Orapup, a tongue cleaner for dogs. I know what all of you are saying right now, really, a tongue cleaner for dogs, is this a joke? It is true, and we have over 40,000 pre-orders for the product that we will ship out next week. It is very exciting. Here are a few photos as we started production, you can learn more at Orapup.com.

This week was Valentines Day. The kids had parties at school and got tons of candy, of course. We were very surprised to have an amazing friend prepare, bring and set-up a candle light dinner for us to enjoy as a family. It was great food and a lot of fun. I think it was the first candle light dinner the kids have had and they thought that was pretty cool.

After dinner we decided to do something fun as a family and we went swimming at the local Rec Center. Dallyn and Kyler both got up their courage and decided it was a great day to conquer their fears of going off the high drive. After some shaky legs and a little encouragement, they both made the leap. They thought it was so much fun they begged to go back again Friday night, which we did. They are now experts at the high dive, doing 360 tricks, backwards jumps and even the occasional (not on purpose) belly flop. For Dad and Cam, that meant swimming at the Rec Center 4 times in 2 days between fun family trips and workouts, really fun but they both feel a bit water logged.

I love candlelight dinners with the kids on Valentines Day! It has been our family tradition for at least 10 years to order Chinese food, decorate a "romantic" table and make valentines for eachother on Valentines Day. The restaurants are too busy and we love the family time!
